When I retired as a music educator in 2003, nature photography became my passion. I completed my nature photography certificate at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois and have been attending workshops in photography and photo editing as well. I belong to the North American Nature Photography Association and had a photograph displayed in "Expressions 2010" which features the top 250 images of the annual Showcase competition.
Upon viewing my galleries, I'm sure you will notice that I love birds. I photograph birds at any opportunity and am learning more about them through the ornithology program at Morton Arboretum.
I recently updated my Canon 50D with a Canon 7D and use Canon lenses ranging from 10-22 mm to 500 mm.
Nature photography has given me the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, embark on the journey of learning a new skill, and develop some wonderful friendships with fellow photographers.
Thanks for taking a look at my website.
